‘Ishinomaki’ Japanese stool
Inspired on the Ishinomaki stool designed by the Keiji Ashizawa after the 2011 tsunami in Fukushima. A simple, yet functional design that can be used around the home: as a step stool, a seating stool, a small side table.
From the original design, screws have been replaced with joinery (there is no screws in our design) and Danish paper cord has been added to bring a Scandinavian touch.
The stool is made of sustainable pine wood as standard and Danish paper cord from Jutland, Denmark.
Options such as type of wood (oak, walnut, etc) or size are available on request.
